Nutrition & Wellness Counseling - 1 hour call
This is the most standard appointment, and we can fit a lot into one hour! We'll go over where you are in your wellness journey, where you want to be, how to set yourself up for success with the right mindset and attitudes within, and what practical actions you can take next to progress toward your own vision of vitality. While not required, I'm always delighted to dive into spiritual aspects of your wellness journey, too, if desired.

About
Hi, I'm Rachel Davis!

I naively decided when I was 19 years old that I would help save the world by getting a nutrition degree while at the University of Texas at Austin. What has happened in my life over the couple of decades since graduating with that degree has been both. humbling and illuminating.
After a long, winding road, I've now circled back to the field of holistic wellness, with an even truer desire to be of service to anyone seeking a greater connection to their own well-being.

My professional journey has meandered through a clinical eating disorder treatment center, a gig as a chef at a nonprofit preschool, teaching yoga, working for Jesse Griffiths at Dai Due, selling supplements at a local pharmacy, selling ads for a sustainable food magazine, and finally putting in 5 years at a software corporation.

My personal health journey has encompassed many ups and downs. I have firsthand experience of using fear and self-loathing as motivation to "be healthy." I've tinkered with it all: biohacking, fasting, ketosis, etc. Ultimately, I surrendered to the reality that none of it mattered if I didn't have inner peace. None of my progress lasted or could be enjoyed because I hadn't first laid the foundation of compassion, trusting my body, and knowing I was worthy of the vitality I so desired.

Nowadays, I'm a mom and I still live in my hometown of Austin, Texas. I'm most often found walking, swimming, hanging with friends or family, or curled up on the couch with my nose in a book. My Christian faith plays a central role in my whole life, including my health. I'm excited to offer such a faith-based lens with clients, if interest is expressed. I am more at peace with myself and more delighted to be in my body than ever before. It would be an honor to help you open up such peace and joy in your own life!
